Our last Christmas card stamp a stack, to be held this Friday.I have the greatest upline, Susan La-Croix. I am proud to be on of "Susans Sparklers". She has a large stamping area, and we hold joint events in her 'studio". My Sideline Angela, Susan and myself, designed these cards. The bottom card was inspired by a swap Susan recieved at regionals in Ohio this past Sept. Immagine my surprize this morning when I logged into Demo support and found that this card was beign demonstarted by some one in the head office!! .. well not this card , but the orginal !
These cards will be fun and easy to make... We still have a few open spots.. call me to reserve yours today!

I had to make a sympathy card for some friends... I hate it when this happens.. I must have stared at my stamps for 15 minutes before I could even think of what I wanted... then I remembered this set, and it fit the occasion perfectly.
On a happier note, I just returned from regionals in Cincinati Ohio and got some wonderful ideas and learned some new techniques! I hope to be sharing them soon! I even got to speak with Shelly and have my picture taken with her. She is so nice and REAL! I got to meet some of the "Utah People from Stampin Up" and it was quite refreshing.. they really do care for each and every demo, no matter where you are in the scheme of things, and they really listen!
I will try to update more often... does life ever really slow down??

This card is so simple, and easy. I used the great friends stamp set. I took a scrap piece of card stock and cut out my square, and used it for a templet. Then I inked up a sponge, off stamped it and then used it to "outline" my square. Leaving the templet in place, I used the great friends stamps and stamped the vine, and used several "generations" .. ( by stamping over and over again with out re inking ) Then I took the butterfly stamp and stamped it "full strength".
On some of my other cards using this technique.. I stamped the butterfly after I took off the templet, and it looked like the butterfly was flying out the picture! My scanner did not do a good job of scanning this card... so you really can't see it true beauty!

This is more of my favorite cottage wall dsp, this time featuring the Ronald McDonald set. This set is found on the last page of the current catalog. Very Thankful. For every set sold, Stampin Up donates $2.00 to the Ronald McDonald house Charities. I think this is one of my favorite sets for Ronald McDonald so far. At first I didn't like the peacock, and I thought I would never use it.. but I am finding I just him. He is fresh and different. The ribbon is the in color ribbon, polka dot side down. It really brings out the raspberry in the dsp!
Thanks for looking!
